Rapper Sarkodie has shared his views on Beyoncé’s ‘Already’ song featuring Shatta Wale which was released today.
Many didn’t expect Sarkodie to react as Shatta Wale slammed him for congratulating him earlier when the news broke that he had collaborated with the American pop star.
According to Shatta Wale, Sarkodie is a hypocrite.
But, Sarkodie, who didn’t look perturbed by Shatta Wale’s gesture, has gone ahead to rate the song on the ‘Lion King; the Gift’ album.
Sarkodie said the timing for Shatta Wale’s record was perfect, adding that “queen [Beyonce] didn’t mind being a guest on the album!!!”
Talking about fusing the RnB genre with Afrobeats, Sark said: “That’s ‘POWER’ Not the usual ‘touch of afrobeats’, its AFROBEAT!! Represented well.”
According to Sarkodie, he would be listening to the song in the upcoming days because its his favourite.
He disclosed that, it was the first time of his life to skip an album having rappers Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar on it to listen to Shatta Wale’s song.
