NAM1 remanded by Accra Circuit Court to reappear on 26th July

Nana Appiah Mensah, the CEO of Menzgold has been remanded by an Accra Circuit today, 12th July 2019. He is to reappear to standing trial on 26th July 2019.

NAM1 as Nana Appiah Mensah is affectionally called was charged with two counts of abetment to defraud by false pretense and two accounts of abetment to carry out banking licensed without a licensed.

His lead counsel, Kwame Akufo beseeched the court to grant him a policy inquiry bail but it was rejected by the court.

NAM1 arrived in Ghana yesterday, 11th July 19 in the company in Interpold Dubai who handed him over to Ghana nterpol. He was taken to the Police Headquarters in Accra where he was interrogated.
